2008: Working on a simple 100% cotton unbleached/undyed coverlet with embroidered roses in collaboration with painter Melissa Lessmann. Above is a rose Melissa painted which we will reference for the final embroidered coverlet.
B & I was developed in 2007 by Danielle Swift. Inspired by a ball of Tibetan two-ply blue wool yarn dating from the 8th century and wallpaper embroidered with silver tear drops decorating Marie Antoinette's holding cell, Danielle got to work.
Buttercup & Ivory machine embroiders new and vintage linens.
